Back in 2002, the New Orleans Times-Picayune ran a multi-part series on what could happen if a hurricane like Katrina ever hit New Orleans.
It was frighteningly similar to what really happened this week.
It warned that levees could give way, that the city was more vunerable than previously thought, and that a major storm could kill thousands.
The series detailed problems with evacuation -- predicting 100,000 people could not be moved out of harms way in time.
An amazing prediction. (Times-Picayune)
