Katrina's Job Cuts

The Congressional Budget Office predicts Hurricane Katrina will cost 400,000 American jobs. And that it could add a full percentage point to the unemployment rate in the last half of the year.

Those figures are on track with private predictions. Those forecasters warn it'll be worse for the economy if rising gas prices cause people to cut back on their spending. (AP via BreitBart.com)
