Scandal Contractors Have Ties to Congressmen besides "Duke"

A couple of the contractors at the center of Rep Randy "Duke" Cunningham's bribery case have thrown a lot of money at other politicians.

One of them provided private jet flights for Rep Tom DeLay (R-TX) (right) and Rep Roy Blunt (R-MO).

Contractors Brent Wilkes and Mitchell Wade also channeled a lot of money to candidates over the years:
  • DeLay, who got $70,000 from Wilkes and his associates.
  • House Armed Services Committee Chairman Duncan Hunter, (R-CA) who got $46,000 from Wilkes, Wade and their associates.
  • House Appropriations Committee Chairman Jerry Lewis (R-CA) who got about $50,000 from Wilkes, Wade and their associates.
  • Rep. John Doolittle (R-CA), a member of the House Appropriations Committee, who got about $46,000 from Wilkes and his associates.
Rep Cunningham resigned last month after pleading guilty to accepting more than $2 million in bribes. Rep Cunningham took money and gifts from the contractors in exchange for directing government business their way. (FOXNews)
