The good news is Uncle Sam and cell phone companies owe you money. The bad news is -- you'll likely never see your share unless you're a big corporation.
A federal court has ruled that Washington owes taxpayers $9 billion in tax refunds and phone companies owe customers a 3% cut in fees.
But the federal government is still collecting the taxes -- and the paperwork to get refunds is so complicated you need to have a staff of corporate accountants and lawyers to work on it. (USAToday)
