Looks Bad on Paper

Doug Thompson, writing at Capitol Hill Blue, suggests President Bush values the Patriot Act over the US Constitution. The President met recently with Congressional leaders about the Patriot Act. Mr Thompson says at least three different people at that meeting have told him that the President became angry when one of his aides suggested parts of the act undermined the Constitution.
