The administration says Iraqis want a change in terminology in the Iraq war.
Instead of "insurgents," they suggested "Saddamists." The Coalition was pulling for "Iraqi rejectionists."
But it appears that "Saddamists" has won out as the "evil doer" du jour term.
Still not sure if this is applied universally in the "Global Struggle Against Violent Extremism."
All this fighting over what to call the people we're fighting in Iraq. My, my. Really just part of the re-branding the administration is doing to market the Iraq War.
Helps you understand why President Bush turned to his top pollster instead of his top generals and diplomats when he needed someone to write "The National Strategy for Victory in Iraq." (DoD)
