Single adults have replaced the traditional family with kids as the most common type of household in the US.The Census Bureau's latest rankings of US households falls this way:
- Single Adults: 27 million
- Married with kids: 24.5 million
- Married with no kids: 20 million

Great. Maybe politicians will finally give some tax breaks to single people. Right now you have to have kids or buy a house to get any attention. But how can you afford to do either when you can't get ahead.
