The White House says President Bush has personally met with family members of about 200 troops killed in the Iraq War. The total number of those killed in the war stands at 1,840 as of today. President Bush has yet to attend any funerals of any of the fallen. (White House)

He still has the duty of being President and performing his job. If he actually met personally with every single family who lost someone in the war, he wouldn't be able to do his job. Those families understand that and so should the public.

I don't know Airborne...a few minutes a day is all it would take. Or even a short, handwritten note would at least show some humanity from the man...
If Bush met with every lobbyist, he wouldn't have time to do his job. It's a good thing...uh, hmmm, oh, he does meet with every lobbyist.
OK, what's this mean? Priorities, I guess.
I'll go along with part of what Ken had to say. He should send each family some sort of personalized condolence message. If he went to the funerals of the fallen I'm afraid it would just turn them into a media circus. I have posted my Question Of The Week. I hope you will stop by to answer it.
