President Bush has tapped former RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie to head up the lobbying push for his Supreme Court nominee. Mr Gillespie is currently a lobbyist who's clients shell out up to $360,000 a year for his services.

Washington Post reports that his client list include:
- The American Petroleum Institute
- SBC Communications
- Tyson Foods
- Verizon Communications Inc
- Microsoft
- The US Chamber of Commerce
- The National Association of Realtors
- Safeway
- Bristol-Myers Squibb
Mr Gillespie will work with former Sen Fred Thompson (R-TN) who worked on the Watergate investigation and is currently an actor. Mr Thompson will work on personal meetings with Senators.
