What, Me Worry?

Sen Hillary Clinton (D-NY) sounded mad -- or at least like a Mad Magazine reader as she blasted President Bush's economic policies.

"I sometimes feel that Alfred E. Newman is in charge in Washington."

--Sen Hillary Clinton (D-NY)
quoted in Newsday

Senator Clinton says the Bush economic plan benefits the wealthy at the expense of America's middle class. She says that middle class has been the key to America's success.
This isn't sitting too well with Republicans, no doubt fans of Cracked. RNC spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt told the Associated Press:
"Such thinly veiled rhetoric doesn't change the fact she is part of today's angry and adrift Democrat Party."
Ms Schmitt then went on with opposition rhetoric to call Sen Clinton a "wolf in sheep's clothing."
And Special White House Spokesman for Satire-Related Flaps, Malvin Koznowski said simply, "Phppppppppt!" (Newsday) [Photolink: The Nation]
