Some State Pork for Rabbits and Shrimp

Not all pork is cooked up in Washington. Check out the lawmakers in Birmingham. Alabama was looking at having state government shut down. It required rounding up state legislators for a special session. But the session bogged down as some lawmakers saw it as a perfect opportunity to hold state services hostage until Alabama taxpayers spent $100,000 on pond-grown shrimp and rabbit farms. (AL.com)
