Spreading the Pre-War Intel Probe

Democrats want a pretty wide reach as the Senate probes pre-war intel. The Senate Intelligence Committee is looking to see if the Bush administration stretched the truth or misused intelligence to get the US into war with Iraq.

Democrats on the committee now want the right to interview policy makers (like Lewis "Scooter" Libby) and top speech writers (like those who included the "16 words" in President Bush's 2003 State of the Union Speech). (WashPost)
