California voters rejected all eight ballot iniatives before them Tuesday. That included four signature plans offered up by Gov Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-CA).
Voters rejected his plans to reign in state spending, redraw legislative maps, lengthen the time a teacher must work to get tenure, and to restrict labor unions' ability to take part in politics.
The Los Angeles Times says Gov Schwarznegger's loses "shattered his image as an agent of popular will." (LAT)
