Thought Police at PBS

What makes you a liberal? Ask Fred Mann. He was the Republican consultant Public Broadcasting honcho Kenneth Tomlinson hired to monitor the politics of guests appearing on NPR & PBS shows. He divided people into three categories: conservative, liberal, and neutral.

The Washington Post's Robin Wright got a liberal label. Why? Look at Mr Mann's notes:
"Ms. Wright's viewpoint was that U.S. intelligence was geared to fight the Cold War and did not adapt to the new threat of terrorism."

What's even funnier is that Chuck Hagel (R-NE) even got a liberal label!!! Somehow, I don't think Tomlinson hired the right guy.
