Rep John Boehner (R-OH) (left) has won the race for House Majority Leader. He beat Rep Roy Blunt (R-MO) 122-109 on the second ballot.

The Daily Kos reports the first ballot had shades of Florida, 2000, all over it -- there were more votes cast than Republicans present.

Mr Boehner replaces Rep Tom DeLay (R-TX), forced to step aside after being indicted in his home state.
