Halliburton has already earned about $9.1 billion on contracts in Iraq.

Vice President Dick Cheney ran Halliburton prior to joining the Republican ticket in 2000. Halliburton has been under fire recently, accused of overcharging taxpayers for services in Iraq. (Reuters)
