Tobacco Money Up in Smoke

Missouri has gotten more than a billion bucks in the last four years from the big tobacco settlement. But not a penny's been spent for it's intended purpose. The tobacco settlement was supposed to pay states back for the costs of tobacco's ill effects -- things like caring for the sick -- and for anti-smoking campaigns.

Missouri ranks third in the nation in the per capital smokers -- and dead last in spending on anti-smoking campaigns. (KSDK)
