POLITICS -- All We Have to Fear is the Next 87 Days

From Our "I Was Never Hurt by Anything I Didn't Say" Department. “Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we,” Bush said. “They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.” -- President George W. Bush, signing the Defense Authorization Act, August 5, 2004

Whatever Floats Your Swift Boat. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) is blasting the swift boat veterans who are blasting John Kerry in a new TV ad. The Candidate from the Shallow End of the Gene Pool. James Hart, the Eugenics Candidate who’s running unopposed for the Republican Congressional nomination in Tennessee’s 8th Congressional District, has a website allowing you to chime in on his racial purity views.

Unanimous Thumbs Down. Michael Moore can still run ads for his movie Fahrenheit 911. The Federal Election Commission gave the group a bad review. (MSNBC)

That's Show Business. President Bill Clinton will appear on the Daily Show with Jon Stewart but he’s skipping SNL.
