Hey if you believe campaign promises, maybe you'll buy anything. Hackers set up a fake web page to take campaign contributions from Kerry/Edwards supporters. Voters were directed to the website with fake e-mails that appeared to come from the Kerry camp. It also allowed the hackers to steal people’s identities. That sort of thing’s called "phishing.’ MSNBC reports on studies indicating phishing has allowed hackers to steal nearly $2 billion in the last year.
