The Sad Thing Is, Washington Paid for a Funeral. The Good Thing is, Nobody Died

FEMA shelled out $28 million dollars in storm claims for Hurricane Francis, which hit Florida around Labor Day. Among the things Washington paid for was a funeral -- even though no one died from the storm. The Sun-Sentinel found the money went for new cars, dental bills, microwaves, and TV sets.
