Politics of Oil

The US will reach it's peak oil production in just four more years. After that, oil production will start dropping -- simply because we're running out. Worldwide, that won't happen until 2030. So oil companies -- looking ahead to falling profits -- are looking for new oil fields. They want Washington to spend your tax dollars to help them look for oil beneath the oceans.
