Re-Nominated

Rep Tom DeLay (R-TX) survived without a run-off in the Texas Republican primary. The indicted Congressman won re-nomination with 62% of the vote. In the past, he's carried contested primaries with 80%.

He faces former Rep Nick Lampson in the fall. Mr Lampson served four terms in Congress until redistricting cost him his seat. That same redistricting is behind Mr DeLay's money laundering indictment. (AP)
