Get clocked doing 101 miles per hour in a 70 mph zone -- you'd expect to get a ticket.
Not if you're Lt Governor Andre Bauer (R-SC) tooling along in your state owned car. The louie-gov has been pulled over twice in the last four months for speeding. Didn't get a ticket either time.
Just last week, Lt Gov Bauer told the Greenville News he'd never been pulled over while in office.
Political Rule One: When you're in the public eye don't lie to people who buy ink by the barrel -- and are itching to try out the state's Freedom of Information Act.
The newspaper requested the records and nailed Lt Gov Bauer like a southern sheriff with a brand new radar gun.
If he'd been ticketed -- it'd been worth 10 points -- 12 and he'd have lost his license. (Greenville News)
