From Our "I Told You So Dep:" We told you in Sunday's vodcast to look out for the class action lawsuits over the NSA database flap.Verizon's stock dropped a full point after a $50 billion lawsuit was filed Friday. We told you phone companies may have violated the "Stored Communications Act" when they turned over your calling records without your consent. That law says your phone company has to pay you $1,000 every time they break the law.
The lawsuit seeks $1,000 for each of Verizon's 50 million customers. (CNN)
