Expect Expensive Races Next Year

Congressional candidates spent a record $911.8 million running for election in 2004. And a dozen of the 33 Senators up for reelection next year already have $1 million or more on hand for that race. Leading the pack are Sen Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) with $6.6 million, and Sen Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) with $5.3 million. (ABC)
