Maybe They Lost Their Remote
The FCC has rejected 36 complaints against such TV shows as "Friends" and "The Simpsons" filed by the Parents Television Council. The Council was caught spamming the FCC with complaints over the last two years, sending complaints to the FCC skyrocketing from fewer than 350 in 2001 to 240,000 in 2003. Among the complaints the FCC poo-pooed, one about signs protesting students carried in an episode of the Simpsons. One read: "What Would Jesus Glue" the other read "Don't Cut Off my Pianissimo."
