Counting the Unaccounted For

The State Department can't pin down exactly how many Americans are missing in the Indian Ocean tsunami. Secretary of State Colin Powell says 5,000 are unaccounted for. But his Department says the death toll of Americans may go as high as 100. (WashTimes)

For another perspective: this could be a huge blow to the Swedes. This article claims that as many as 1000 Swedes could be dead. For a country of 9 million, this takes on a toll 10 times as great as 9/11 was for Americans.
