Cancelling the Counterterror Confab

CIA Director Porter Goss has scrapped a daily meeting the agency's used since 9/11 to coordinate counterterrorism operations worldwide. Participants from the CIA and FBI who attended the meetings say they were the single most important session held each day in Washington. (NYT)
