"Freedom Fries" and "Freedom Toast" are "French" again at the Congressional cafeterias. Congress ordered their names changed in the lead up to the Iraq War when France opposed the US invasion.Rep Bob Ney (R-OH), one of the Congressmen who led the charge to change the names in 2003, declined to comment on the menu change.
