White House Ethics at Work -- With Your Tax Money

The White House paid $240,000 of taxpayer money to talk show host Armstrong Williams to promote the "No Child Left Behind" act. The Bush administration hoped to use the popular, African-American comentator to build support among black families for the law. Mr Williams says he understands how critics might think the whole thing was unethical but he believed in the law. No doubt $240,000 can reinforce your beliefs. (USA Today)
