That Should Improve Our Ethics Record

That's what you get for crossing the House Majority Leader. Rep Joel Hefley (R-CO) has crossed Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-TX) so many times, they barely speak. Unless it's about an ethics charge Rep Hefley's Ethics Committee has brought against Rep DeLay. There's been a lot of that lately. Enough to have the embarassed House GOP leadership on the verge of forcing Rep Hefley out as chairman of the Ethics Committee. Making you wonder what good an Ethics Committee is. (WashPost)
