America is facing a feral cat problem. In the old days we called them "strays" or "alley cats." In some urban areas there are hundreds of stray cats per square mile. That's more than nature can support.
Though no one can possibly pin down the exact numbers, cat experts claim these strays eat billions of birds and small mammals every year.
As Abe Lincoln is rumored to have once said, "Democrats are like cats. They may sound like they're fighting. But when it's all over, all you've got is more cats."
As my daddy often said, "There ain't no such thing as ONE cat." (National Geographic)
