A Bumper Crop of Your Dollars

The Environmental Working Group is out with a new farm-by-farm review of $11.3 billion in federal disaster payments. The environmentalists studied payments over a nine-year period and found what they call "chronically dependent" farms. They claim Congress apprved annual emergency payments that funneled taxpayer money to roughly the same farms year afer year. (EWG.org)
