Ohio may be the Florida of the 2004 election, but Florida isn't giving up the title without a fight. Election officials are sending out hundreds of new absentee ballots after a bunch of them disappeared. They're concerned primarily 58,000 Broward County ballots given to the Postal Service on October 7 & 8. Some have been returned, but hundreds of other people complain they never got their ballots.
