Tipping His Hand to Steal a Little Thunder

The Kerry Campaign is already spending $45-million to buy TV ad time in 20 states – right up to election day. It’s unusual for a campaign to buy so much so early. But it’s only about half of what Kerry has to spend before the election – and the ads start the day before President Bush accepts his nomination for re-election at that four-day commercial the political parties call a convention.
