A new Pew Research Center Poll says differently. A plurality of Americans now say President Bush's tenure will be judged as "unsuccessful:""We will write not footnotes but chapters in the American story." -- Governor George W Bush, RNC nomination acceptance speech, August 3, 2000
Unsuccessful: 41%
Successful: 26%
That's a big shift since January when 36% said he'd be judged successful by history, and only 27% said unsuccessful.

Ah polls - probably the same polls that predicted that war "hero" Kerry would win, right?
LOL
What poll ever said Kerry would win. Seems there was a statistical tie in ALL of them right before the 2004 election.
And it ain't just public polls. Republican pollsters and Bush's own people are finding the same thing.
Social Security reform, tax cuts, name any Bush policy and they're all dead. He's a lame duck.
Republicans are already staking out their fallback positions for when they expect the Democrats to take back the House next year.
