House Republicans have tapped Rep Doc Hastings (R-WA) as the new chairman of the House Ethics Committee. Seems they didn't like the job Rep Joel Hefley (R-CO) was doing -- twice issuing reports critical of Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-TX). (USA Today)
