The Big Social Security Checks

If all the money about to be spent on the Social Security debate were invested in one of those private accounts the President wants -- I could probably retire tomorrow. That may be a stretch, but activists and lobbyists on both sides of the reform issue plan to spend a collective $100 million. That'll buy grassroots campaigns, TV ads, polling, and town hall meetings. (CNN)
