Not since Nixon, Humphrey, and Wallace ran at the height of the Vietnam War and Civil Rights movement has there been as big a turn out at the polls. The Associated Press counts about 120 million people voting in Tuesday's election. That's 60% of eligible voters. That big a percentage hasn't turned out since 1968. Maybe that explains the flatlined turn out on younger voters -- 18 year olds didn't get the vote until 1972.
