Just two years ago, Congress thought it was a good idea to let you know where your food came from. Now they're changing their minds. Ranchers and farmers -- competing with foreign food imports -- talked Congress into having food labeled to show its country of origin. But meatpackers and food processors don't like the idea. They've twisted Congress' arm the other way and the law looks headed for the meat grinder.
