A huge windfall for Nextel at your expense. The FCC voted 5-0 for a plan that would swap airwave spectrum with Nextel Communications at a below market price. The move is supposed to correct an "interference" problem. But it was Nextel that created the problem in the first place. The solution allows Nextel to swap $1.2 billion worth of spectrum for a better slice of the pie valued at as much as $7 billion.
