Perhaps polls in the battleground nation state of Iraq have put it back into play for a candidate once considered out of the running. Saddam Hussein plans to run for the interim national assembly in January. As long as he hasn't been tried, there appears to be a loophole in the law letting him run for office.
Meanwhile, the Multi National Corps-Iraq is looking for a campaign manager of sorts. They ran an ad looking for PR expertise that read in part: "Polls suggest support for the Coalition is falling and more and more Iraqis are questioning Coalition resolve, intentions and effectiveness." (WashPost)
