Rep Dan Burton (R-IN) missed an entire week's worth of votes in the House to play in a golf tournament.Roll Call reports Rep Burton missed 19 votes in four days to play in the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic in Palm Springs, California.
Nothing new for Rep Burton. Roll Call found burton once scheduled a 'field hearing' in Los Angeles the same week as the Bob Hope Classic in 2000, so he could slip out to the golf links. (Roll Call via Raw Story)
