As the conspiracy theorists descend on the chosen design for the Flight 93 Memorial, Eric Heyl of the Pittsburg Tribune-Review decides to get all Mulder & Sculley and digs into the issue.Critics don't like the "Crescent of Embrace" because they claim it is a symbol of Islam.
Mr Heyl takes on a Pillsbury spokesman and all the advertising their doughboy has done -- pushing crescent rolls for so long. (Tribune-Review)

It is not a crescent. It is a ragged, meandering semicircle.
